PROGRAMS OVERVIEW
Currently New Image operates four programs and provides numerous supportive services to homeless and low-income individuals and families with children. New Image does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations.
The programs New Image provides are:
Case Management with Supportive Services: provides comprehensive case management and referral services to homeless and low-income individuals and families to assist them with addressing their unmet needs in order to help them transition into affordable stable housing.
Individuals and Families with Children Program: provides Transportation, Temporary and Permanent Housing, Partial Financial Rental/Move-In and Utility Assistance, Job Referral and Placement, and an array of other services to homeless individuals and low-income families with children.
Financial Housing Assistance Program: provides financial move-in and rental assistance to unhoused and low-income families with children residing or moving into Los Angeles and Long Beach (Funding is limited)
COVID-19 Community Outreach Program: Provides COVID-19 preventive services and PPW to homeless who are 'sheltering in place' on the streets and/or other places not meant for human habitation. This program also includes case management and housing placement.
Annual Children’s Christmas Store (seasonal) - provides a pair of shoes, 4-6 toys to children (ages newborn to 18 years old), and grocery gift cards to homeless and low-income families during the holidays. The Christmas Store is a ‘Christmas Wonderland,’ full of toys, refreshments, music, and a visit with Santa. Families are referred by social service agencies, businesses, and churches throughout Los Angeles County, and is held in partnership with a previously identified local hotel. Over the past 28 years of its provision, the hotels have been The Hilton and The Westin, both located in Long Beach, California.

- Transitional and Permanent Housing search and placement
- Transportation (tokens, taxi, gasoline)
- Utility Assistance
- Literacy Education/ Library
- Dress for Success Boutique
- Job Employability Skills
- Money Management Classes / Practical Life Skills Training
- Financial Assistance for the obtainment of: Identification Cards, Driver Licenses, Birth Certificates, Prescriptions (Uninsured only), Food and Food Gift Cards.

New Image is working on a Humanitarian Bridge Housing program designed to decrease for chronically unhoused Veterans individuals & families with children

The Mission of New Image is to: decrease and prevent homelessness throughout Los Angeles County by providing comprehensive Case Management and Supportive Services, housing, job search and placement, outreach, and referral services.
